Voprosy Khimii i Khimicheskoi Tekhnologii (Issues of Chemistry and Chemical Technology) is published bimonthly by the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies. The journal accepts high-quality original articles and reviews in Ukrainian and English that span diverse fields of chemistry and chemical engineering research.

The journal was founded in 1965.

The journal welcomes contributions from researchers worldwide.

Submissions in multidisciplinary fields or emerging areas of chemistry and chemical engineering are particularly encouraged, reflecting the journal’s dynamic scope. Traditional topics include general, inorganic, organic, analytical, physical chemistry, and electrochemistry, as well as established areas of chemical engineering, such as the chemistry of high molecular compounds, technology of inorganic and organic substances, combustible mineral processing, silicate chemical technology, and processes and apparatus in chemical production. The journal also publishes articles on interdisciplinary fields like materials science and materials chemistry, nanoscience, catalysis, computational and theoretical chemistry, surface phenomena and colloidal systems, environmental chemistry, and green chemistry.

As an Open Access journal, Voprosy Khimii i Khimicheskoi Tekhnologii makes all articles freely available on the internet for any user to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts, and to use for lawful purposes without financial, legal, or technical barriers, apart from those inherent to internet access. Articles are available at no cost to readers.

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 License (CC-BY), which permits free copying, display, and distribution, provided the author and source are credited.

The journal supports key open science initiatives, including the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI), Initiative for Open Citations (I4OC), Initiative for Open Abstracts (I4OA), and the Barcelona Declaration on Open Research Information, promoting openness, transparency, and the broad dissemination of research results.

Authors retain full ownership of their content published in Voprosy Khimii i Khimicheskoi Tekhnologii, and we assert no intellectual property rights over the materials contributed by authors.

Authors are permitted to deposit published versions of their work in an institutional or other repository of their choice.

Voprosy Khimii i Khimicheskoi Tekhnologii is a Gold Open Access journal. This means that all articles are made freely and immediately available for reading, downloading, citation, and use upon publication, without any technical restrictions or embargo periods.

To cover the costs associated with publication preparation and ongoing journal support, an Article Processing Charge (APC) of 2000 UAH is applied. At the same time, a full APC waiver (100% Article Processing Charge waiver) is granted when all authors (without exception) are affiliated exclusively with institutions outside of Ukraine.

Voprosy Khimii i Khimicheskoi Tekhnologii is included in Ulrich’s Periodicals Directory and is indexed by Scopus (since 2015), EBSCOhost, Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS), CrossRef, and Google Scholar. Voprosy Khimii i Khimicheskoi Tekhnologii is archived by CLOCKSS and V. I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine.
